THE CONVERSATION THAT MATTERS

What’s behind
“I’m fine”?

Aaron speaking at a lectern during a wellbeing presentation
Real stories. Honest conversations.

Men carry a lot. Work. Family. Expectations. The pressure to have it all figured out.

Sometimes we keep going for so long that we stop asking how we’re actually doing. My talks make space for that conversation, and give people something practical to take away from it.

Whether it’s a team, a sporting club or a room full of men ready for change, the aim is the same: more awareness, stronger connection and a clear next step.

THE TALKS

Start a conversation.
Make a change.

Three ways to open the door.
Each shaped around your audience.

01

MENTAL HEALTH & CONNECTION

Tune In.
Check Up.
Reach Out.

20–30 MINUTES SHORT TALK

A better check-in can start with you.

How often do we ask “How are you?” and move on before we’ve really listened? This talk helps people notice when something feels different, start a more honest conversation and encourage further support.

YOUR AUDIENCE TAKES AWAY

  • Changes to notice in themselves and others
  • Simple language for checking in and listening
  • A practical breathing tool and a next step for reaching out

02

STRESS, PRESSURE & EVERYDAY LIFE

The Invisible
Load.

45–60 MINUTES KEYNOTE

We bring more into the room than people see.

The responsibilities, worries and expectations we carry don’t disappear when we arrive at work or walk through the front door. An honest conversation about stress, triggers and the way pressure shows up in our lives and relationships.

YOUR AUDIENCE TAKES AWAY

  • A clearer picture of their own stress patterns
  • Practical ways to pause before reacting
  • Small recovery habits to use in everyday life
Bring this keynote to your audience
03

IDENTITY, OWNERSHIP & DIRECTION

Rebuild:
The Next
Chapter.

45–60 MINUTES KEYNOTE

What kind of man do you want to become?

Life changes. Relationships end. Our roles shift. Sometimes the life we’ve built no longer feels like our own. Drawing on my own experience of starting again, this talk explores what it takes to move from getting through the days to building a life with intention.

YOUR AUDIENCE TAKES AWAY

  • Questions that reconnect them with their values
  • A way to recognise habits that keep them stuck
  • One clear commitment for their next chapter

GO DEEPER / GUIDED WORKSHOP

90MINUTES
FOR YOUR
NEXT CHAPTER.

For men’s groups, teams and communities.
Especially relevant to men at a turning point.

Practical tools. Space to reflect.

The Life Audit.

An honest look at where you are.
A clearer idea of where to go next.

A guided, workbook-based session exploring relationships, work, finances, health and purpose. Participants reflect on what’s working, what needs attention and the habits they want to change.

Everyone works towards a practical personal commitment they can take into the week ahead.

MEET AARON

I’ve had to
rebuild, too.

I’m Aaron. A speaker, coach, community facilitator and father of three girls.

I started as an apprentice carpenter at 16 and spent more than 20 years in construction, working my way into site management. Along the way, I learned how much people can carry while still turning up and getting the job done.

My own experience of starting again is a big part of why I do this work. I know the value of taking an honest look at your life, asking for support and deciding what you want to build next.

Today I bring that experience into talks, coaching and men’s community work, including leadership and facilitation with Kaizen Path.

Straight talking. Real experience. Practical tools.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

THE BELIEF BEHIND MY WORK

“The first half of life
happens to you.
The second half
is built by you.

IN THE ROOM

Make it human.
Make it useful.

People connect with someone who speaks their language.

I use real stories, direct questions and practical exercises to get people involved. There’s room for humour, reflection and the conversations that don’t always happen in everyday life.

We’ll talk through who’s in the room, what they’re facing and what you want them to leave with. That gives the session a clear purpose from the start.

Aaron's keynote at our recent company event in June was powerful and thought-provoking. His common-sense approach to mental health really resonated with our team and sparked genuine reflection.
